Level 1 is built to strip survival down to its essentials—so you focus on what truly matters when it counts.
Over two days, you’ll train hands-on and walk away with practical, real-world skills that could save your life—or someone else’s.
You’ll learn how to build shelters, make fire in any condition, purify water, navigate unfamiliar terrain, and stay mentally sharp when everything goes sideways.
What You’ll Learn
First-aid techniques for survival situations
How to build a fire in any condition
Shelter construction using natural and kit materials
Water purification and resource identification
Survival mindset and situational awareness
Basic land navigation and signaling for rescue
Knife safety, tool use, and camp setup
Introduction to edible and medicinal plants (season dependent)
What You’ll Get
Access to a primitive campsite. You do no have to stay overnight but class will start on time the following day. (included — no extra fee)
Water provided on-site
Use of tarps, saws, and other gear so you can try before you buy
Two full days of hands-on, real-world instruction

Requirements
No experience needed for this course
If course minimum attendance is not met courses will be rescheduled and refunds issued.
Certification
You’ll be tested on key skills, knots, and techniques covered throughout the course. This is to simulate the stressors of a survival situation and allow you to apply what you learned.
All participants who complete the course receive a certificate
Challenge coins are only awarded to students who exceed course standards.
Pricing
$300 per person
Youth (ages 13–15): $50 with a paying adult
