Meet the Lead Instructor
Tyler Ridenhour is the founder and lead instructor at Arkansas Survival School LLC. With nearly 20 years of active military service and counting, Tyler brings extensive experience and a passion for the outdoors to his instruction.
He has completed respected training programs such as the U.S. Army Pathfinder School, Basic Mountaineering Course, and Air Assault School. He also was deployed to Camp Liberty, Iraq in 2008.
In addition to his military background Tyler has completed multiple survival courses at various school houses and has two decades of outdoor hunting experiences across diverse states and environments. His hands-on knowledge of wilderness survival and deep respect for nature provides a strong foundation for teaching other essential skills needed to navigate and thrive in the outdoors.
